Removing Youtube 15 Minute Limit on Video Uploads
Being able to post longer than 15 minute videos on youtube will be awesome for folks who don’t want to cut up their content into different parts!
Or for posting those 16 minute videos on different websites. Now you can post them on youtube.
What you’ll need to get the 15 minute limit removed:
- A youtube account in good standing (no porn or other bad stuff uploads)
- And a phone number that can receive a text message (Google Voice works just fine)
Basically, you get a text message with a code verify you own the account and are active (and human) and you put it in and bam, 15 minute removed.
Here are the steps to get your 15 minute limit removed.
- Go to youtube
- Click on upload
Click Upload yo!
- Click on Increase your limit
- Select your country
- Enter your phone number
- Check your text messages on your phone number
- In put it into Into the box to verify it
- And profit, I mean 15 minute videos.
Now you are able to upload videos longer than 15 minutes. Currently I haven’t tested how long videos can be, but there doesn’t “seem” to be a limit on how long it can be.
Now you won’t need to split videos into 2 or more parts! Just don’t get yourself banned.
